The role

The supervisor leads the delivery of IT and telecom products across MTN Benin's business units, from the first request to production and handover to operations. The main tasks are to:

• lead product delivery and governance: consolidate plans, priorities, risks and dependencies across business units, run progress reviews and prepare weekly and executive reports, and follow up third-party developers;
• act as Scrum Master and Agile coach: facilitate sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives, and coach Product Owners and teams;
• remove blockers and manage dependencies between teams, platforms, vendors and business units;
• oversee technical and solution design: coordinate feasibility studies, solution descriptions, HLD and LLD, integration designs, APIs and data flows, aligned with enterprise architecture, for telecom/VAS products, charging and subscription systems, Mobile Money, databases and cloud services;
• manage quality, releases and go-live: SIT, IAT and UAT testing, defect management, release planning, production deployment, rollback readiness, hypercare and post-implementation reviews;
• improve time-to-market and productivity with delivery metrics (lead time, cycle time, predictability, release frequency, go-live success rate);
• facilitate collaboration between product, architecture, development, quality, infrastructure, security, operations, business teams and vendors.

Profile required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, telecommunications, information systems, technology management or a related field;
• at least 3 years of experience in product delivery, Agile delivery, solution delivery, software engineering or solution architecture, in a telecom or digital services environment;
• certifications valued: Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, product management, ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile project management, or architecture, cloud or DevOps certifications;
• strong command of Scrum, delivery planning, risk and dependency management, release and go-live management;
• technical knowledge: solution and enterprise architecture (HLD, LLD, UML, TOGAF), software development (Java, PHP, Python, MySQL, Vue.js, React Native), APIs and integration, telecom/VAS platforms, charging, Mobile Money, cloud, databases, SQL/PLSQL, Linux and UNIX, testing and release management, backup, recovery and high availability;
• knowledge of IT service management (ITIL, eTOM, COBIT);
• excellent executive communication and the ability to work under pressure.
