What the job offers

MTN Cameroon is recruiting a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Finance, based in Douala, Cameroon. The post is full time and on-site, in the Finance team.

The person owns the supply chain strategy of MTN Cameroon end to end, in line with the Group's supply chain policies. The aim is to cut costs sustainably, keep supplies running without interruption, meet regulatory requirements and create measurable value through good financial management.

The main tasks are:

• developing and running the integrated supply chain and finance strategy;
• leading demand and supply planning to optimise stock levels and service;
• driving sourcing projects that reduce costs while keeping quality and compliance;
• overseeing supplier performance, governance and risk reduction;
• making sure all sourcing and supply chain operations respect regulations;
• working with finance on budgets, forecasts and cost-to-serve analysis;
• running continuous improvement programmes based on data and KPIs;
• managing cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver smoothly;
• reporting on financial performance, savings and value created to senior leadership;
• promoting sustainability and social responsibility in the supply chain.

Who can apply

• Education: a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, business administration or a related field. A master's degree is preferred;
• experience: at least 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, sourcing and finance, in a large telecoms company or a similar industry;
• a proven record of cost savings and supply continuity at senior management level;
• good knowledge of Group supply chain policies, regulations and good governance practice;
• strong analytical skills, and leadership experience with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners;
• advanced skills in ERP systems (for example SAP) and analytics tools (for example Power BI, Tableau);
• professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, CIPS or CPA are an advantage;
• fluent English and French, written and spoken.
