JOB PURPOSE:
The Human Resource Officer will report directly to the Country Director.
To deliver a professional, client-focused HR services, partnering with managers to implement HR solutions in line with WFP corporate priorities.

Utilises broad understanding of leading HR practices and WFP context to contribute to the design of standards and guidelines in line with WFP People Strategy. Demonstrates sound judgement in interpreting external leading HR practices to contribute to Talent Management solution design, ensuring appropriate buy in throughout the process.
Analysing and Forecasting
Applies advanced knowledge of workforce data and analytics to provide insights and forecasts, in order to enable decision making. Utilises advanced knowledge of WFP forecasting and analysis tools and methodologies, along with leading HR insight generation and visualization practices, to identify opportunities for improving WFP's HR practices.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
Advanced university degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or other relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience or trainings/courses.
Experience:
At least 3 or more years of postgraduate professional experience in Human Resources with an interest in international humanitarian development.
& Skills:
Language: Fluency in English language and the duty station’s language, if different.
