The Role 



 



The conflict in Ukraine has resulted in a major humanitarian crisis.
Over 5 million people have fled to neighbouring countries, and millions
are displaced within Ukraine.



 



Plan International has been present in Romania since early February
and has established partnerships with civil society organisations,
ensuring national actors are equipped with technical support, best
practices and flexible resources, with a primary thematic focus on Child
Protection, Education and Mental Health & Psychosocial Support. 



 



As Partnerships Manager you will work closely with a variety of
functions within the Plan International team in Romania, including,
Programmes Specialists, Finance and Business Development, ensuring the
implementation of Plan International’s partnership steps and
principles. 



 



You will contribute to the mobilisation of resources per various
partnerships, project design and quality delivery within their capacity.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating and liaising with various
partners, risk assessments and mitigation measures, working with various
types of partners, such as; Youth Groups, Civil Society Organisations,
Local Organisations, INGOs, UN Agencies, Government Ministries, Private
Sector companies and more.

The Requirements 




  • Experience identifying and onboarding new partners for the organisation 



  • Capacity building experience, both in arranging and delivering training to partners 



  • Experience in managing a portfolio of partners simultaneously;
    building and maintaining relationships and solving problems intuitively 



  • Good knowledge of financial reporting and management 



  • Excellent ability to write reports and draft tools and Standard Operating Procedures in English 



  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse and cross-cultural audience 



  • Knowledge on the context in Romania is desirable (but not a
    requirement), particularly relating to issues affecting the rights of
    children and young people, especially girls and young women as a result
    of the Ukrainian Refugee Crisis
